Unfortunately! There is a small 5% charge for booking online or paying over the phone. This is a management and protection fee which secures your payment. If you would like to avoid this charge you are very welcome to pay your allocated instructor on the day of your first lesson. Like all driving schools in the UK, the money you pay the instructor will be between you and them and we cannot protect your money against unforeseen circumstances the same as if you are paying us. If you choose to pay your instructor on the day by cash then your Warden Hill instructor will issue you with a receipt if you ask for one.
Local Luton instructors who know the routes
Warden Hill has taught in Luton for nearly four decades, so our DVSA-approved instructors know the local test routes inside out — from the Britannia Estate test centre to the A6, the town-centre one-way system, Luton Airport approaches and the M1 junctions 10 and 11. We cover the whole of Luton, including Stopsley, Leagrave, Limbury, Lewsey, Farley Hill, Wigmore and Round Green, as well as Dunstable, Houghton Regis and the wider Bedfordshire area.
Where is the Luton driving test centre?
Your practical test will most likely be at the Luton Driving Test Centre on the Britannia Estate, off Leagrave Road (LU3 1RJ). The Dunstable test centre on Brewers Hill Road (LU6 1AA) is a close alternative, about 10 minutes away. DVSA test centres are not tied to a specific instructor, so we will prepare you for whichever centre has the best availability. Local DVSA waiting times typically run 8–16 weeks, so it is worth booking your test as soon as your instructor feels you are approaching test standard.

How early should I book my practical test?
